Oakton Library provides a couple of databases that you can use for retrieving old Chicago Tribune articles about the Leopold and Loebe murders. An Oakton username and password is required for both of these resources.

The Chicago Tribune Historical ProQuest (database link below) includes full-text and full-images of the Chicago Tribune in a searchable archive back to the first issue, from 1849 through 1999. The Chicago Tribune via ProQuest (database link below) provides searchable full-text from daily Chicago Tribune articles published 1985 to the present.

You can identify additional Chicago-related information sources in our Chicago Region research guide (https://researchguides.oakton.edu/chicago).
