Q. What are Evidence-Based Care Sheets and how can I find them?

Evidence-Based Care Sheets (EBCS) are "are summaries on specific key topics, which are focused on nursing practice." Oakton College library users can find them in CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature).

Here are a few tips to get you started:

• Select CINAHL from the A - Z Database List.
• If you are off campus, you will be asked to enter your Oakton username and password.
• Once connected to CINAHL, select Evidence-Based Care Sheets from the options at the top of the screen
• You can browse through the items or use the search feature.
