Oakton Library provides a couple of databases that you can use for retrieving old Chicago Tribune articles about the Leopold and Loebe murders. An Oakton username and password is required for both of these resources.

The Historical Chicago Tribune via Proquest includes full-text and full-images of the Chicago Tribune in a searchable archive back to the first issue, from 1849 through 1987. The Chicago Tribune via ProQuest provides searchable full-text from daily Chicago Tribune articles published 1985 to the present.  Please note that both of the links provided above will take you to a Chicago Tribune Proquest page that searches archived and more recent articles simultaneously.  I strongly recommend selecting one or the other (the indexing differs somewhat).

You can identify additional Chicago-related information sources in our Chicago Region research guide (http://researchguides.oakton.edu/chicago).
