Oakton Library provides a couple of databases that you can use for retrieving old Chicago Tribune issues. An Oakton username and password is required for both of these resources. Links to recommended resources are available below.

Chicago Tribune Historical Proquest includes full-text and full-images of the Chicago Tribune in a searchable archive back to the first issue, from 1849 through 1998. Chicago Tribune ProQuest provides searchable full-text from daily Chicago Tribune articles published 1985 to the present.
